Høringssvar vedrørende Hamletsgade - revideret lokalplanforslag

It is with great concern that I learn about the plans to build on top of the old textile fabric in front on my apartment and I want to strongly oppose that idea.

I have recently purchased my property, largely because of the view from the apartment despite living only on the second floor. The building of the old fabric is beautiful and it concerns me that the Copenhagen municipality does not plan to conserve its unique architecture and even considers building on top of it. Majority of the apartments facing the factory only have windows on that side of the street, so getting a building directly in front of us not only will deprive us of a lot of daylight but our entire privacy will also be taken away. I believe this to be a massively intrusive project.

Additionally, if the construction happens the factory will lose its charm and majestic presence, decreasing the overall esthetics of the area. I truly hope that the idea of building on top of it will be rejected.

I urge the municipality to reconsider the plans and leave the old factory building as is.
