Copenhagen Municipality should also consider the environment and open spaces in its’ urban planning and approval specifically in the city centre. The area along Weidekampsgade is both commercial and residentials areas, thus consideration should also be given towards it’s residents and not only for profit oriented companies. The parking space in-front of Radisson Hotel is an open space that gives a breather to the crowded city. Constructing a building/buildings to this open space will add noise pollution to the already noisy and congested area. Especially during the day, traffic is very heavy on Weidekampsgade (and Amager Boulevard). Adding new office spaces, day care centers, hotel rooms and other work places will decrease the health and well-being of people living and working in this part of the community. I hope the municipality will not approve the constructions of new buildings in this open space.
