As someone who lives mere 13 meters away from the stairs at the waterfront at Richard Boones Vej 4, I strongly believe this is a really bad proposal. Having an official bathing zone would invite far more people than what we currently had during the summer. No amount of policing would prevent the loud noise, illegal parking, litter, food and drink leftovers, and especially the piss (even with the temporary toilets). We, the residents living directly above it, are the ones who had to clean daily after this mess. We are the ones who most directly are affected by promoting this small patch of waterway to an official bathing zone. Our association had to take some serious measures, quite costly ones, to actually try to reduce the number of visitors. The zone has seen zero conflict between the swimmers and an occasional small boat. There were absolutely no cases of this in the zone, unlike the zone next to the teglholmen havnebus station, which is the one that should be fenced off. Having the plastic floats during the whole year would simply kill the beauty of the waterfront, which was the sole reason for my family moving here. All that for promoting a 2 week of bathing "season".

Once again, I strongly recommend, and demand, the voice to the residents to be heard!
