However, I am concerned that the benefits of reducing søgetrafik in the inner city (and potentially also in NV) are overestimated. While the number of vehicle*km is reduced locally, the number of users per space increases, offsetting some of the benefits of reducing the søgetrafik. The increased availability of parking, and the extra car trips that generates may increase the total vehicle*km for the city as a whole.
