To Whom It May Concern: I have visited friends who live in Appleby Plads over several years and have enjoyed not only their company but the communal space they share with their neighbours - a small oasis in Christianhavn for families and children. I have worked locally in Christianhavn on Strandgade and witnessed over 12 years the systematic changes of the harbour area in Christianhavn and Nyhavn. I would like to register my disapproval of further over development of the Christianhavn harbour area. I recently witnessed the opening of the bridge linking to Appleby Plads. It was impressive to see the huge number of people there for the opening, and subsequent use of the harbour shore since then. Building more and increasing the housing density in the area will not in my opinion bode well for the future. I witness this everyday when I look out of my office at the three new buildings at Greenland's Plads. And, of course next to Greenland's Plads is the bridge to Nyhavn. I believe the people of Copenhagen have seen enough over development of the harbour space. It's time for an indefinite pause. I share my opinion in the hope that the development at Appleby Plads does not become a reality for the sake of maintaining harmonized harbour area and not succumbing to the need to build for the sake of building because space can be made available at the expense of others. Kind regards, Christopher Parker
